Okay this just reminds me of the stupid people in Frankenstein when none of them, if you ask me, were truly romantic and maybe that was her point or something else...
The tenets the characters broke:
Frankenstein- Human Rights, society, simplicity
Monster (neil)- wanting to be fitting in to society
Elizabeth- society, focus on individual
Justine- Society yet again see a pattern? Focus on individual...
Robert Walton- Human Rights hahaha no society? I must be wrong... hmmm, simplicity, focus on individual.
you're getting the point there are many other characters clerval william etc...but yes...
generally they want to be away from society... but yet they are so bound to it it is the course of their downfall because society is a source of corruption say romantics.. nature good society bad... they love nature but are so held on to society they can never truly be romantics... maybe thats her point... that there never can be true romanticism for as hard as humans may try we are condemned to be in society and have society dictate our ways... I don't know but this one picture reminds me of the close to the ideal romanticism idea... hmm...
I mean think about it one tenet says human rights, the other says society is a source of corruption... well if you believe in human rights you damn well care about the society because they deserve rights too... we are all connected through society in our own ways and most of the characters are connected by the fact that they are human rights... or they believe themselves to be that.. but inactuality some arent oh yes now ive confused myself... hmm not good

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
